These are some scenes celebrating various aspects of the various
celebrations that occur at or around Christmas time. I have used
the name Yuletide for this group of scenes because it emphasises
the deep pre-Christian roots of these festivals and is, perhaps,
less inaccurate than calling it Christmas or Xmas if I decide to
include and New Years themes scenes.

Currently (Mid Dec 2017) the only scenes are a series based on a
simple Christmas "Advent Calendar" in which a bew door is opened
each day to reveal that day's treat. The ullest versions of the
scenes use a different clip for each day, i.e. 25 of them. This
will often be too many and may cause the scene to run slowly. To
avoid this slowdown alternative versions have been provided that
use fewer clips but each clip except one is reused.

The naming scheme used for the Advent Calendar scenes is

  TheEmu = Yuletide - Calendar Xn - nnxr+1

where X is a single alphabetic character
n is a single decimal digit
nn is a pair of decimal digits
x is the letter x (designating multiplication)
r is a single decimal digit

Xn designates a particular calendar design with X identifying a
basic design and n a variation on that design, in particular it
identifies the set of textures that are used as linings for the
individual calendar compartments. Within each Xn design variety
is acheived by randomly selecting the various components used to
assemble the scene.

nn specifies the number of clips used for the first 24 days and
r the number of time each is used. nn*r should be 24. The final
1 signifies the extra clip used for day 25.

In order to avoid potential performance problems the two highest
clip number alternatives, i.e. the 24x1+1 and 12x2+1 versions,
for a calendar are delivered with a non-standard file extension,
.scn--. To enable these versions remove the two trailing dashes.
